People that haven’t dealt with the idiots in that area don’t have a clue teacher. There weren’t enough subs to go around before the storm, and most of them were poor at their jobs and keeping their word. After the storm, half of the labor moved out of the area and the available work increased 10x. My dad is a home builder by profession, and it took him until April to get both his houses back up and running. The same repairs would have been complete in December if he was back in Birmingham. And that’s after building houses in the area for a couple of years and knowing the local subs/ moving down there for the duration. If you have more trouble, I’d definitely consider pulling out of Dothan or Tallahassee. It’s worth paying more to have a job done in a timely manner and correctly.
