Man that's gotta be tough. I will pray for that situation. If I or a loved one ever receive that diagnosis, we will be going to Houston TX. I had a connecting flight through Houston a few years ago and sat by a man with an Alabama hat on. Me being an Alabama fan, I gave him a Roll Tide. He told me, with tears in his eyes, that he had one of the best days he has had in many years. I ask why and he responded that he had been told that he was cancer free. He had been diagnosed and given 6 months to live by doctors in Birmingham. That had been 7 years prior to our meeting. I know all circumstances are different but I would definitely get another opinion and seek other treatment options. We have two appointments tomorrow. Last night I was going through the notes I took from our first visit, and I have some conflicting information that I want to discuss with the doctors. First of which, the initial diagnoses was stage 1b/2a double negative, one positive and non-aggressive. Now we are looking at triple negative, aggressive and stage 4 only two weeks later. Regardless, I am going to request a second opinion and to be referred to MD Anderson in Houston.
