I sent off for a quote for a model 1876 Winchester. I don’t want the looks changed, I just want to be able to use it.
They may not do that type of work. I don’t want a complete redo with case hardening.

I wanted to get a quote from Doug on case hardening a project A5 receiver. Doug curtly informed me that ‘he would NEVER work on semi-auto firearms, as no real hunters used them’....no kidding. Then, 6mos later, the Turnbull ARs hit the market. LOL. There are other people to deal with.
