Have the Polygamy Porter from Wasatch Brewing Co. Pretty good stuff.

There’s a Mexican joint we ate at that was on diners and dives. I’ll ask the wife the name of it.

Been there, done that, got the tee shirt. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/EYACeOR.jpg) If you want to see a bunch of Mormons scarf down 50 different kinds of Jello salad, give Chuckarama a shot. And if you see a discrete sign saying a place has "ghosts"--that's how they tell you they serve spirits (alcoholic beverages). If you have time, drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon to the little ski resort village of Brighton. Some pretty scenery, at least it was when I lived there 15 years ago. Be aware that Salt Lake City has a very serious gang problem, with some very violent Black, Hispanic, and Pacific Island minority teens.

Absolutely the nastiest city I ever seen, except for maybe New Orleans. The smog is so thick you can cut it with a knife.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Wasatch Brewing also had a great shirt with the porter label and: "Polygamy Porter: Why Have Just One? Take Some Home to the Wives!"

Red Iguana is excellent! Valters Osteria is a great Italian place downtown. I spent a week in SLC several years ago on some work stuff and these 2 places were my favorite.
