I bought one a few years back from Tactical Industries in Taft TN. (same guy who makes the 22 conversion kits) HE did all the machine work right there in TN. Of course he did not build furniture, springs or the barrel but he did the rest. I thought that was cool, and worth my $$$ at the time at least. One benefit to him making the whole thing was that I could get it with any serial number I wanted, or any other engravings I wanted done easily. I am not sure he is still doing those, but if he is I believe it would be worth a look.
