It's not a surveyor mark, especially not a "control point". That would require some type of PK nail and surveyors wouldn't put it in the road where they would have to set up next to live traffic. It's most likely a fiber optic or cable identifier showing the distance to the next handhole or pull box or next found location.


not sure what the best way to handle them is but they shouldnt be on tv and gettn married and raisin kids

I know you know what it means, but for that don’t, it just means the locator had indicated that AT&T is clear in that particular work zone.
