7x57, that is a Yildiz. I think I have used it 6 years now. I got Sumtoy to fix it up for me. He cut the barrels to 24" and shortened the stock and added the recoil pad. Also lengthened the forcing cones and threaded the barrels for the Tru-Choke system. It weighs 5 lbs 6 oz.
He had to do a little machining on the rib to mount a 336 plate on it. The way the Yildiz is shaped made it more difficult than most guns, but it's rock solid. I have a couple of other sxs guns that just needed the rib tapped for the 336 plate, but the Yildiz wasn't level.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
