About the same. Sadly, I have to use any tax refund I get to pay my Mom's outrageous property taxes in Texas. But hey, no income tax! That’s why anytime anybody talks about how some state has it so good,... they’re getting you somewhere Yep. They make up for it in other places. Florida has no state income tax either, but property taxes are quite a bit higher than Alabama.
