If the landowner has to sign off, on timber company leases who would sign off? A lot of timber company leases are handled by leasing companies and I don't know if they could sign off, if you could find a real person to talk to.
I always thought u had to have land owner permission also. Maybe they don't have to actually sign nothing i dunno
