Nothing this am. Went to a big field and heard 2 gobble across the river, never came into the field or gobbled after flydown. Little girl wanted to leave at 830 so we went to BK for breakfast.

With a daddy daughter campout this weekend. I'll be going out Monday afternoon to try to find one after the hens leave em. Latest I've ever killed one was 12. So I'll be breaking records if I connect.

I have heard more inidividual turkeys gobble on the limb then ever before, yet no more 1-2 gobbles on the ground. This is covering 4 counties and I have hung with them all day on multiple occasions. Hopefully something will change soon and I will pull my weight!

I’ve had one of the oddest seasons ever. I heard several turkeys on limb early in the year, but zero gobbling on the ground. 4/5 and 4/6 I had great Hunts with lots of gobbling but something went wrong both times. I had him at 10 yards one morning, but behind me and his hens busted me before he made it around. Still hunting hard, but haven’t heard a turkey gobble in 12 days. Had my second daughter born 4/2 (came early) so I wasn’t able to plan any out of state trips. Still hunting hard and will continue. Sorry for being a bad teammate, but it is not for lack of hunting!
