I thought about using Blackwing before I sent that one to Blake but turkey mounts are expensive enough without the hassle and expense of shipping to and from which adds a significant amount of money to the overall project.
I was able to save some money because I sent 2 at once and picked them up in person the following year when I went hunting down there. Killed another bird while down there and was able to drop it off and he mailed it back to me. It cost me $75 for him to ship a full strut mount in a crate. I didn’t think that was an outrageous price,
