Guy's I thought I would share my 2011 Illinois turkey hunt with you guy's. I got bored at the house today so I edited the footage to make an 8 min. clip. I must say this is my first attempt at editing my videos so it�s very amateur.

There isn't much footage of the gobbler because he did not come up the road like I planned. He skirted the right hand side and came in hard to my right through the timber. I was able to get the camera moved around to that side. You will have to look closely and you will be able to see them walk through a few openings. They get by me but turn around and come back through a few minutes later. The second bird caught a face full of Nitro�s on the second pass. There is a good amount of gobbling in the video so it sounds good even if the kill footage sucks.

What kind of call were you using Squeaky?

I started out with one of Stony's glass slate calls as well as a Woodhaven mouth call. I finshed with the mouth call on this hunt.

Branndon the gobbler is on the video when I shoot. You have to watch closely because that green clump of grass is some what blocking the hole he walks in. I had to move the camera around and could not get it set up exactly like it needed to be. I was affaid I was going to get seen.

Nice. You sort of cleared out a hole to his head didn't you?

That's why I shoot Nitro's I actually had a decent shot at him. The camera is sitting a little lower than my line of sight. It makes everything look thicker than it actually was.
