I had the opportunity to take this young man hunting this past weekend. His dad was not able to go on Saturday and I volunteered to take him with me. We had a great day in the woods and the afternoon ended with him shooting this great 8 point. I had about 50 pics of this deer and had been hunting him hard all year long. This deer walked out on a food plot at about 4:15 and he made the shot. I don't think I've ever seen a kid that excited. I had been hunting the deer in a totally different area of the property. Just goes to show you never know where or when a big one is gonna step out. Was glad to be there for his first deer. I'm sure it will be a memory he keeps for a long time.
