sweet...noone else has laid claim to a rem 870 in 16 ga with #1 buckshot. i was 9 and was stalk hunting with dad when a doe walked up on us on what is now bucksville fatboys farm in bibb co...was the james' bottoms in the late 80s.

My sks kill was in 93. I was 13. Was a doe out of doe days. I didn't care. Was the first deer I ever saw. I got off the bus grabbed it and walked behind the house with my blue jeans on and my cologne and a yellow shirt I wore to school. I was making a grunt sound with my mouth. Standing on the ground. She walked about 15 yards from me. When I shot her I took off running after her. I had no clue what I was doing. My dad never took me. Just picked it up on my own.

Mossberg 12 ga buck special with slugs on the Coosa WMA. Got a 6 point and shot 2 boxes of slugs before I killed that one. Saw 6 racked bucks in about 2 minutes while chasing a buck through the woods. I ran up on three bedded down together not 10 feet from me and shot straight up in the air I think, I was burnin up with buck fever. I got the 6 on the way back to the truck. Took 3 shots and each shot he just walked closer to me, I finally settled down and made one count. Never had another day like that, it was unbelievable.

H & R single shot 12, buckshot. Was blocker on deer drive. Killed several deer with that gun till the stock began splitting. Still got it in my safe.

Winchester 94 30/30. Got in the woods late that morning because when I opened the truck door it came tumbling out into a mud hole and it took a while to clean it up. Shot a spike 4:30 that afternoon.
