Polygraph are not full proof, but I would say, best option they have to cut down on all the drama associated with big bucks I would hope knowing one would be required would be a deterrent. But you know how people are. I will never take another one because of my bad experience and knowing I was telling the truth. But it's their club and their rules and if you want in then play by the rules. I'm no threat of having to take a polygraph with them with a record book deer anyway.

Do any of y'all think that trophy hunting has become so much, the be all,and end all thing in deer hunting. That and people's competitive drive has contributed to the drama we see unfold. Should there even be a record book You've been around it daily for many, many years. You know it's not the same. Better or worse?? Depends on personal perspective and age. Im 51 so I've seen alot over the last 40+ years. I will never be in another club and will only hunt by myself. Too much drama (and competition) for me or at least it has always been to me. If I take someone hunting i don't hunt. This has been the best for me.

I won't take a poly for simple fact that I'm a nervous fk as it is, so i would probably fail screw that

If the big deer walks out 2 foot outside the big pen with shooter waiting will he qualify for Alabama scoring system or does he have to walk around for a couple of days? Hurricane Michael blew down alot of high fences in southeast Alabama, north Florida and southwest Georgia, I wonder if this affects the record books?

Hmm, whitetail record guys little resistant,to polygraph, they say cost prohibitive. So, far, hunters seem somewhat resistant to that idea. Surprising really, makes you wonder

Breeder buck from a high fence down that way is what I was told.
Alabama whitetail records have rejected it as an entry.

Owen Walton was a fake. Nikon even sponsored him before he got exposed. A good friend of mine bought a Nikon scope after Walton's "kill" and boy did I have some fun with my friend! Now, here's a question. Do these high fence deer get reported to Game Check? Deer hunting fakes are nothing new, it just does not take as long to expose them.

I read that the deer had a name. SMDH. Wonder how much it cost?

My statement from 1/26/19. ^^^^ Anytime you see a HUGE buck and a $3K gun and the hunter wearing $1K worth clothing and gear, you can just about guarantee that it's a 'high fence' kill.

Wonder how much that guy paid to pump up his ego? Not impressed at all now that the truth has been revealed.

I carry a $2k+ rifle, some fairly pricey gear, and wear nice camo. Does that mean all of my bucks are high fence? We’ve got five strands of barbwire around our place if that counts.

Tell me again the pride I should feel when I kill a pen-raised "trophy" buck? Where the smell of a human means an apple or a pear to eat?
Keith Warren and his Deer and Wildlife Stories on YouTube. GMAB! He should call it Deer and Tamelife Stories.
I know it's legal but, IMO, and it's my opinion as well as most, whitetail deer were not meant to be commercialized like cows.
I'd rather shoot a free-range 4 yr old 120" in the swamps than a 200" pen-raised.

I just watched a Primos video. It takes those guys MANY hours of filming to capture a decent kill. I watched one of the Primos guys bow hunting the swamps off the MS River. They shot a decent mature buck and I loved watching it! That's hunting. That's The Truth and it's Free-Range deer.
