Thread resurrection here: I was able to contact a friend/fellow member on here that I knew did wood working and had made some turkey calls in the past,and asked him to try his hand at grunt calls. He made up about 10 of them and let me try them all. I ended up with these 2. One is mahogany and the other is a blend of rosewood and tiger wood I believe. I'm here to tell you that these things sound AWESOME!! I used them this last week at camp and called up numerous 2 and 3yr old bucks even though it wasnt the rut. I'd highly suggest you guys link up with him if you'd like a new call for yourself or as a really cool gift. Both calls have fully adjustable reeds and the brass plug,so they wont freeze up either. The craftsmanship is top notch guys. I have no affiliations with him other than calling him a friend. I actually met him on this forum. Just trying to support the local business here.
