If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

Sorry to hijack - but Ben2, same here, but not sure if it's the same shop though! When I left the guy's shop, my clothes smelled like the place! He did a European mount for my wife and I couldn't hang it up it stunk so bad. It's been in the basement for a year now and it is just now getting to the point where I MIGHT be willing to try hanging it up in the house.

Why is it unbelievable? Heck over in Georgia they had a funeral home that had dumped bodies behind it, stored ashes in the rafters among other things. If people can do that with human remains what’s so dang unbelievable about a deer processor just walking away. There are sorry people that walk among us and I see them everyday in health care.

Threw a full mounted turkey in a dumpster after sitting it outside for 2 months cause it stunk too bad to put inside. Yes burn your clothes and bath in Clorox and you still smell it. Good thing I found Charles at AW

Well, I used this place last year when it was being ran by another young man. He made some of the best deer sausage we ever had, until the end of season. The last 2 deers I left took forever to get done and the sausage was ok but not the same as earlier. Never did here the whole story of that owner, but I heard a lot of people were very unhappy with him. Dropped a deer off there at start of gun season this year when it had become 2 Bucks. Deer was ready in about 3 weeks. New owner, another young man, was there alone when I pick-up. He was complaining that he couldn't find any good help. I'm just glad I had found another processor for the rest of this season.

RCHRR, that would make sense and makes me wonder how clean the capes and other stuff are in the shop because the smell in that place is BAD, really bad!

I was talking about his Euro mount. I just finished my first one and it’s hard as the devil to get it all out. Once I got it all or what I felt was all of it out I filled it with salt for several days. No smell at all and it turned out great.

Kiser or kizer was his name, I think he just got overwhelmed towards the end of the season and kept taking deer when he should have been telling folks no. Probably the same thing that happened to this guy. Truth is that not everyone is cut out to be a business owner

That's probably about what the processor me and a buddy took our deer to in Russell Co. a couple of years ago. Been using the place for years and then they just shut down and stopped answering the phones. Last I heard there was about 50 of us that lost deer.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.
