If the picture can be used to identify him, I'd turn it over to the Game Warden and tell him you want to prosecute. Or if you know the person, you might want to make contact with him yourself. Just be careful. People are crazy and retaliate. Keep your head on a swivel.

I tried to do the right thing ( in my mind) this last summer when we had some kids hunting on us. After giving them my cell and telling them if they stayed off during deer season I would give them written permission to hog hunt, guess who shows up on our property during deer season.
I had pictures of them hauling out animals.
Turn it over and go.

I agree it's not wise to confront but after all the beer cans, helium balloons tied on trails (like a friggin moron) it has just pissed me off. I found a bag of apple crush with a thermocell wrapper and an empty can of pepsi stuffed in a pile of limbs in November. I've seen this idiot pull up to our gate with a truck load of hunters and turn around and leave when he saw me. Trees have been cut down, barbed wire cut and all kind of stuff. I want to whoop his ass but I know I'd only get in trouble and it's not worth it. I just want him and his buddy to know he is caught and it's only a matter of time before I post his and his buddys pictures on here and call his ass out for being a lifetime poacher. It's been going on for years. We are good people and would rather be neighborly that have a border war but some folks are idiots and have no respect.
We spend thousands of dollars to do what we do. At the end of the day, it hurts my kids and my ability to teach them about hunting and that REALLY pisses me off. They don't have the right to take away my ability to let my kids learn about hunting and for us to enjoy watching deer that haven't been run out of the county because of pressure that shouldn't be there. Don't get me wrong, we kill deer. It's not about that. It's about trashy poachers that have the need to go on other peoples property to kill deer because they can't on their own.

Don't show him all of your cards. Just let the GW take it. Tell him to make an example out of the poacher(s). Poachers suck a big one, but at the end of the day, it's not worth a bullet in the back. Keep your cool. Teach your kids that it's best to let authority handle those types of conflicts.

Seems to me you answered your own question by saying “he’s a lifetime poacher”. If that’s the case, you contacting him won’t do anything. Best to let the law handle it and hit where it hurts...his checkbook.

Sounds like you know exactly who he is, where he hunts and what he drives. Take the pic and give it to the GW along with all that info and tell him you want him prosecuted. You'll probably need to prove to the GW that the pic was taken on your property by showing him the location of the camera and surrounding area for the case but since you already know who the guy is, it should be bullet proof and easy for the GW. Based on how brazen this guy is right now, if you let it go yet again, he's liable to be sitting in your shooting houses next year and telling you to get the heck off his land cause you're messing up his hunts. Prosecute, prosecute, prosecute. Nobody gets a pass. EVER.

Where in Wilcox are you hunting? I hunt that county as well and I can assure you that if you get Game Warden Tait enough information he will do everything in his power to get them caught.

To me its a no brainer. Its not even about the deer, its about you having your kids out there and some idiot poacher shoots in yalls direction. If you have the pics to prove what they are doing youd be crazy not to prosecute. If you don't you will have them on your land all year long, every year.

We had a neighbor teen turkey hunting our place a few years ago.
He was cutting fence and leaving trash all over the place too.
Had a word with his Mother and he hasn't been back.
