Good to see that they got the guys, and it is probably reasonable that the young lady was not charged. Hopefully they'll all have learned a lesson here.

Glad to see this one settled at least for now. The officials had to stay on this case for a while and it is appreciated greatly. It’s a sick feeling to see the deer you were hunting in a magazine killed by someone else especially by questionable means. This area has been abused for years and I’m glad to see someone doing something about it.

How dumb can a man be????? If I were to illegally kill a huge buck, which I would NEVER do, why in the heck would I spread it all over social media???? That sucker was asking for it and I hope he gets the worst possible punishment for it!

So what’s the typical punishment for crimes like this?

Do they keep the deer?

I knew a guy who killed a monster in Tennessee years ago without a Tennessee license. He had the deer and his rifle taken and paid like $4k in fines total. Thing is he had permission and everything just never bought his license. It was the 3rd biggest deer killed in Tennessee that year.
