Great job!!! My son missed one Saturday afternoon while hunting with my dad (he said his pawpaw was his good luck charm hunting and traded me in) and he got the due diligence lesson as well. Time with family makes this the best to me!!

Clean miss - no hair, no blood, no mule kick and no bull dozing. We did our due diligence though - he understands now what kind of effort has to be made to be sure you don't have a wounded animal. But now he is fired up to go back because thats the 2nd encounter we've had with that buck. (Buck -2 US- 0). And......walking out there was a nice broken off 8 point standing in the road. He stood there and stared us down while i showed my son the log loader behind him about 50 yards through the trees loading a truck and reminded him of the the importance of knowing whats behind your target. No deer today but I'll bet he learned more this morning than he would have learned at school those 2 hours. (That would have been his firs buck)

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!
