They are on their feet. Just passed thru Montgomery on 65. Power line south of the river was full of deer, could not tell if there were any horns. Just north of the river there was a nice racked buck on east side of interstate, almost right there where those guys park to hunt. He looked to be eating, didn't see a doe around. Who’s land is that? And I’ve yet to see the first deer or turkey in any of those fields and I’ve worked in Montgomery for 3 years now . Guess I don’t pass my at dawn or dusk too often. Any one know what the duck hunting is like there? I see waterfowl more than deer/turkey, but they're all there. I see more on the power lines than the fields. As you come south, turkeys are often in the last field on your right.
