I’ve had this guy on camera all year and finally caught up with him. I was hunting out of a climber about 45 foot up, yeah that high. I was positioned on the edge of 2 cut overs and hardwood / pine mix where 3 separate tracks of land come together in a corner. I had seen movement all day long as expected with the moon and weather. Two does came easing through the hardwood / pine mix out of the 10 year old cutover / planted pines and then I heard breaking limbs and a lot of noise. I knew then I was in for a treat. He stepped out about 50 yards ( max distance I can see in my stand ) and the rest is history. He did run 110 yards deeper into the thicket so that was fun.
