We tracked a deer last week. We started tracking 830am lost it in the creek. Found it by buzzards at 415 I’ve never had them on one that quick. When we found the deer they had took the eyes out eat a hind quarter and busted the guts. On Christmas Eve several years back I killed an 8 point on a greenfield a little after 12 pm one day. He hadn't been laying there dead 15 minutes when the buzzards started messing with him. If they happen to fly over and see it laying there they are going to go for it.
