I am sure this has been asked but I couldn't find it. Is it legal to hunt, carry my bow and my rifle to the stand?

I think no.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I took both on one hunt and it made for a miserable experience. Trying to tote both through the woods and then trying to maneuver in the tree with both was not much fun.

If I take both I’ll Hang my rifle on a hook low enough to reach sitting and lay my bow across the top of my climber. If they come in close my bow is in my lap if not I can just reach up for the boom stick.

I carry both this time of year. I'm a bow hunter at heart, but I'd hate to see a giant buck walk pass me at 80 yards.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I primarily bowhunt but I will on occasion carry both, especially during peak rut if I am going to sit all day. I just put a rifle holder on my Summit and strap my rifle in there and carry my bow as usual and put it on a hanger once I am situated. I have never shot my rifle when I carried both but just knowing it is there is reassuring. Especially if a coyote cruises by out of bow range.
