In my opinion it’s a little late this year at my little spot in talladega county which is pretty close to stemley. It’s usually wide open the first of January but I’m still seeing bucks by themselves and does with yearlings. I did think i saw some chasing on the 30th but i was looking through a 2 foot wide gap in some small pines 100 yards away and could see 3 or 4 deer running around but couldn’t tell what they were or what was going on. I think it’s gonna be another few days to a week where I’m at.
