Kids today can just look the lyrics up if they don't know them. We just sang what ever seemed to fit.
What I always sang:

Correct Lyrics:

Revved up like a deuce
Another runner in the night
Didn't understand the lyrics that I sand, and I still don't understand it: I assume it meant Ford Deuce Coup.

My cousin always thought that "Beast of Burden" was Pizza Burning. She said she was in her late teens and singing it when a friend of hers made fun of her. I can't hear the song now without singing pizza burning.
