New to the board. Been on the sidelines for a couple of years but never registered. Decided to join since I am sitting at home with a broken ankle and can't get in the woods.
I hunt Barbour County in the South and Morgan County in the North. I really just hear for the list of places to eat. Welcome. I love the lists on where to eat to at Orange Beach and Gulf Shores too! We need MORE of them Im thinking....

I'll answer it all in one post.
1. Daddy was not in law enforcement
2. Math heads kilt all the deer in Morgan County and exchanged the meat and hides for cough medicine.
3. Broke my leg when I pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant I heard about in Gulf Shores. A Cald, Black Painter and Doug Jones pulled in at the same time. The Cald was talking loudly on his cell phone while on speaker, the black painter was eyeing my Glock 911 and Jones was mumbling something about security. They tried to beat me to the line for the restaurant, so I slapped the phone out the Cald's hand, wrastled the painter for my CC sidearm and gave Jones the stink eye. Out of nowhere, a Mr. Greenjeans and other Gub'ment agents took me down and in the ensuing struggle I broke my ankle.
4. Didn't break it scaling Everest, running the iron man, or saving kittens from a tree. Early December, heard crash during storm, lost power, went outside to see what it was. Stepped off paver laying on 2 inch bead of pea gravel, rolled ankle and SNAP. Two feet out the back door.

5. Now because of the broken ankle, I can't serpentine walk to the stand, so I have to hunt from the truck. I do have a loaded gun in truck with two wheels on public right of way and two on private land, anyone know if that is legal?
