I've owned both. Started out with a FF3 and it lasted 1.5 seasons before I started having issues with it cutting in and out. Sent it back to Burris and they sent me another. It too lasted ~1.5 seasons before it succumbed to similar issues as the first.. Not fun having sights go bad during the middle of your season. Burris once again replaced it. I sold the new one and bought a Venom. I do like the brightness adjustments better on the Venom. After using the Venom for a little over a season, I slipped while crossing a rock bottomed creek and fell right on my Venom. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/Z17ai52.jpg) Sent back to Vortex and they replaced it within 2 weeks even though it was completely my fault! So I've been through 3 reflex sights and haven't gotten more than 1.5 seasons of use off of any, ha. But the Viper at least didn't malfunction on its own. Fortunately both companies have excellent customer service. I did the exact same thing to my venom last year and Vortex replaced it quick with no questions asked.
