Had a y’all 4 point slipping by. And not 5 minutes later I had a piddler come walking behind me on a trail. He wasn’t toting a rifle but looked like a pistol in right hand. Gonna have a word if he come back through here. Need the be having a conversation with GW and have him waiting. I'll ruin a deer hunt for a coyote or a tresspasser

Just had a spike come through grunting up a storm 15 min behind a doe.

I had a lone fawn come through at 8:00, then a 3 year old 8 point at 9:40. I was baring down on him for a while, til I realized how small his body was. He sure was tempting and I would’ve been proud of him, but I’m trying to hold out for something that’s bigger and older. It’s been a tough year for me to try to see a good one!!

Sat on a powerline before sun-up.Seen 4 does,and played with another mature doe and her fawn with a grunt tube.I had the wind,so the stare-down lasted a good 5 minutes.She finally grew tired of trying to figure out what I was,and eased on into the woods.Enjoyable hunt,and never fired a shot...

Back in the office today. Sure wish I was out there. I killed my first deer on this date in 1985. Back then doe season opened on December 26th and I was going for anything. I ended up shooting a buck with 4 inch spikes that I thought was a doe. I was pumped tho! Good luck to all you out there!

Helped him out a little bit. First hunt, first deer, lost as a goose in a hurricane.

Just got settled in between some big limestone rocks. Hunting a wash close to the top that has a pretty good trail. Hopefully one will try slipping by
