Thank you very much. Aldeer comes through again. make sure you got wet clutch approved oil in it too you gotta have the friction additives can't use the same stuff you put in your truck

Dang, It's my own fault, I did have a can of ethanol gas and I have put it in there. I did change my order on Amazon and bought a new carb. We will see if that works.....The engine does have a bad "tick" in it....I knew better. Hate this ethanol crap....Thanks again for the advice. I would have stuck with the carb kit and rebuilt the oem carb. I've got a small atv salvage yard and I do not recommend those China carbs at all. They are junk and I don't think I've ever had one work right. You'll see a few people that have had a little luck out of them like the one who posted on these comments but overall they don't do right. That's not just my experience but the majority of people that come to me buying parts thst have tried them. Over the years I have nearly never had to actually replace a carb unless sometjing was broke or it had set up with water in it. Whatever route you go I would at least keep the old carb and many times you can clean them without a kit and be fine.

I had my carb cleaned and rebuilt twice by a Honda dealer with no luck. That was actually more expensive.
Buying a genuine Honda carb new in the box off ebay was the solution that finally worked. No more ethanol since either.

I have a 97 big bear. I just buy an new carb off ebay every few years and just drop it in. It's usually about $65-70.

Mine wouldn’t run cold and had to spray stuff in the intake to get it to start. Noticed on the side there is a primer plunger with a rubber boot on it. The rubber boot was torn and gas poured out of it. Bought a new boot, replaced it, and runs better than when I first bought it

Well, replaced the entire carb this weekend. No luck....Off to McLendon Service I go...Thanks again for the suggestions....

you need to adjust the fuel air mixture it's not plug and play. lot of YouTube videos on it
