I lived in Cullman and had a job in Bessemer one summer. 2-1/2 hrs. each way. I've hated to drive ever since and won't if someone else will. 2-1/2 hrs. each way? Were you driving a model T?

It wasn't interstate though Gardendale back then nor did 59/20 go all the way to Bessemer. It was aggravating for sure.

My wife gets car sick so for the last 15 years she drives when were together about %75 of the time. Its great allows me to go places and drink beer and not worry, my wife dont drink.
