I have no idea why the sports forum was shut down...perhaps you can enlighten us. Perhaps it was the sanctimonious attitude of some that came on there and posted just trying to get a rise out of others...shoe fit? I have no idea either....but if someones attitude had anything to do with it, I think all of the forums would have been shut down. More than likely it was content.

Now that the serious business is out of the way maybe they can focus on who threw a punch and broke the jaw of a fan or maybe start looking into that murder a day they have going on in N.O. Exactly. What about the poor guy that was ASSAULTED for absolutely no reason and had to have his jaw wired shut. Some drunk ass LSU fan attacked him and then ran off like a little coward. This man went thru physical pain and is going to have to go thru rehab and has no telling what in medical expenses and no one is even talking about it. I could care less what one drunken @$$hole does to another drunken @SShole. And yes the LSU fan was drunk and not on medication by his own admission. Was it a stupid act? YES. Is it was big a deal as it's being made out to be? NO. And for everyone saying "what if it was your kid" if I was the drunken LSU victim my dad would be just as disappointed in me for putting myself in that position as he would the other drunk that decided to teabag me. They both should be locked up for being idiots.

Fact: The guy was with his girlfriend standing outside making a fool of himself. He was screaming at bama fans and being a druken fool!
So then him and his girlfriend ran into krystals to get some food. The guy was being so obnoxious his girlfriend left him. She was so ashamed of him she left him to pass out in krystals. That is the reason he was all by himself passed out.
And lets face it the guy was not on meds, it was the BCS national championship game. And you want to try to tell me he wasn't drunk.....COME ON! If he was on meds I bet the ones he took were not perscribed to him!
Last I have no side in this story, but I do know that both guys are idiots, and they are getting (have gotten) whats coming to them!

Fact: It makes no difference if they were drunk, high, or sober. The assailant committed sexual assault...one of the worst crimes known to humanity. Any minimizing or excusing his actions is appalling.

Roll Tide War Eagle was railed against as a hit piece meant to embarrass the state. Judging by what I've seen it was pretty much dead on.

Any minimizing or excusing his actions is appalling. Most of the lawyers I've heard speak on the subject feel that this case minimizes the more serious cases.

If a woman was passed out and got tea bagged would you say the same thing? If the perp was not an Alabama fan would you be bothered by what you are saying is no big deal? I think a lot of Alabama fans want to dismiss it or act like its no big deal and I don't guess I blame them. With AU's NC, updyke, ROLL TIDE WAR EAGLE and now the tea bagger, its been a pretty rough year. Rough year? Seriously? We're the ones with the crystal ball and ANOTHER #1 recruiting class. Your program is the one where the wheels are falling off. I know you would like to think all this has some adverse impact on Alabama football, but it does not. The teabagger is not a big deal to Alabama's program. It's just some idiot that got caught doing something stupid and will end up paying for it. It has no impact on our program at all. I will GUARANTEE you it will not cost us a single game or a single recruit. You may not like that, but based on some of your posts, there are a lot of facts that you don't like. You'll just have to live with it.
