Find the adjustment screw/locknut on the front of the engine. it should be at about 11 o'clock of the shifter you should see arrows above it that say "increase/decrease". With the engine COLD, loosen the lock nut and turn the screw COUNTERCLOCKWISE until you feel slight resistance. Then back it out 1/4 turn CLOCKWISE, and hold the screw while you retighten the nut.
