Have you walked around and looked for beds? I would expect them to bed in and around down treetops and fallen trees if its clean under the 16 yr old pines
Not in the past couple months. The specific buck I’m Hunting won’t score much but is one of the biggest body deer I’ve ever seen in Alabama. I’m not gonna do anything to bump him out of the area so I don’t want to do much, if any, in season scouting for him. Just trying to get a better idea.
Our place is not really pressured. 3 guys Hunting 700 acres. The plot I hunted this evening hasn’t been hunted since October. We don’t shoot does hardly ever and we are seeing bucks routinely but this warrior is old and smart.
