No, they are wise enough to keep this a local protest and not make it national. They'll get tired of trying to provoke an incident that will give them the attention from the national media. As long as it kept local it is a win for the city, and not the protestors. I can tell there is nothing more frustrating as an officer than to stand by while this goes on. I lived it in 1990.


Then when the national news picks it up the excuse will be the whole nation is watching. Where's the line, destroying public property? Private property? A private citizen takes matters in his own hands they'll damn sure arrest him!
