.308 for deer hunting 6.5 creed if i want to shoot out past 500 at paper. i dont see much difference between the two under 500 everbody wants a 1000 yard rifle and 90% cant keep a tight group at 100. your trading bullet weight for speed either way they play out about the same within the ranges 99% of us are gonna be shooting
