Alright so my uncle and the old fella John came out. We started where I lost blood the first time The little old gal did well after having to warm up it seemed like. We got back on the trail and came up to a small creek bed where it looked like the buck laid for a good while. Nice size puddle of blood mixed in the mud. After crossing the creek bed, we lost blood again but found a small amount near the pond and our property line. That last blood was on the trail leading right to the pond the deer always use. The dog came up to the pond and looked like she got anxious. Both those fellas are positive the buck jumped into the pond after I pushed him the first time. I was already hot and frustrated with myself. I said my thanks and hit the road back to the city. Damn good looking little beagle that guy was running. I hate he doesn't do computers/cell phones. He would be a funny old fart on here. Going to bed.
