Gonna tell y’all some of the crazy stuff from our club this last week....I am a buck hunter that always plays the right wind, of the wind is bad for a particular stand I will not choose that location. However 2 mature bucks were killed in a greenfield at my club with a bad wind. Crazy

Crazy. I hunt mountains mostly and it seems to always swirl there. So I try and hunt where sign is and best wind I could get most of time in tree.

I try to hunt a "cross wind" where my scent isn't blowing towards where the deer are coming from, but close. A mature buck usually likes to travel into the wind.

True. I like to hunt Not on directly downwind from where I expect them moving but just off that alittle on same reason. The big ones love to travel in wind. Got to make sure scent free as possible. Risk versus reward.

Congrats teammate, I hoping to head to the club this weekend. I've stayed at the house and hunted some this past weekend. We had a couple houses get robbed down the street so my wife didnt want to be home alone. I did figure out shes a better shot with my pistol then I am but I wont tell her that. Good luck guys.

Been extremely slow for me but camera is starting to pop with bucks fighting and bumping does in last 2 weeks. It’s the time of year I carry my lunch and sit all day. Hope too kill soon. Hope all y’all kill to.

Congrats, that a great deer. It's been slow here behind the house but hopefully it will turn up soon. I'm heading to the club Thursday and should be there till Sunday or Monday.
