Protesting at someones home is over the line. Arrest them, charge them and make it hurt in the pocket book.
I can't say I know the law on it, but don't you have to have a permit to protest? If not, the city needs to pass an ordinance asap and make the penalty hurt.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
