2 day season 23rd and 24th

Duck season is one I don't need to know seasons or regulations. I'm not a duck hunter. I knew I heard more shooting in 30 seconds than I've heard all deer season. And obviously it is impossible to kill a duck with 1 shot. Always 3 shots.

Just saw another 8 point crossing the road.. he was a little older, but didn’t get the heart pumping, so he got a pass as well.

Snuck into my stand for a little midday sit.
Wind is a tad funky but it’s nice to be in the woods.

I got skunked this morning. Time to get iron bowl food ready and pour up a beverage.

Getting ready for the Iron Bowl.It want hurt to miss
one day, since I get to hunt every day.. Being kinda retired
does have an advantage this time of the year.I can hunt
every day if I want to and deer season is a big part of my life.
