I woke up, but decided not to go. Rains done but when I walked outside it’s still so wet it’s still “raining” in the woods. Plus I have to be a breakfast with the in laws at 8:30. I have tons of excuses just hate being awake and not going hunting. I’m glad I don’t have a camera out at this spot cause i chose not to hunt Thursday afternoon and this morning.

I’m in the thinned pines at choccolocco. Either sex but I don’t think I can bring myself to shoot a doe way back here. Just had a coyote pass 20 yards from me.

Just had a nice wide 8 point cross the road on me with velvet hanging from his antlers. I thought it was a doe at first because his body was so small. He had short tines and got a pass.

I have no idea what is going on up there. There is no longer a gate at the entrance road so you won't need a key. I don't know about the road condition either, but you two need to ease up there a few times before season closes. B
