I shot this 7 point with a 18 1/2 spread today from 32 yards. The tracking was disappointingly boring. It was the typical "5 gallon paint can" blood trail.
After pulling the Rage out of a branch after the complete pass through I followed the 65 yard long blind man's trail to the carnage that you see in the pictures.
I have to admit that I did pass on this buck last Monday morning because I was VERY high up in a tree and I was not comfortable taking a high angle shot with a Rage. It really is about discipline when you shot expandables. With the right shot though these broadheads are devastating. Oh yeah, that upside of the deer with the frothy blood is the EXIT side of the wound.
