Must not have many cdl holders on here. Is it considered profiling when troopers set up on interstate and pick random trucks to pull over to do a DOT inspection on? (I’m not talking about weigh stops)

Oh yeah that happens. Most truck drivers don't like it either.
It is illegal if it is random. There has to be a pattern. Every truck, every third truck, etc. etc. but it has to be a pattern. Random is an evil word for when talking about roadblocks.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
