How can you not profile in this situation? Pull over some Cadillacs and semis? I'd bet if the Cadillac and semi had deer strapped to them they would stop them.

Is this surveillance also being done on interstates or road coming out of Georgia, Florida and Mississippi? Seems the latter would be a definite since CWD is confirmed over yonder. I will only say this... one state is not being targeted over the others.

I have first hand personal experience with this. Do you? I have... No; I do not.
But, I do happen to know and Trust someone involved with it. And, I know that they have heard all the ‘profiling’ and ‘Rights Infringement’ complaints and take them serious and are working to ensure that those things are not done.
And this is 100% correct. So you’re saying nobody is pulled over unless it’s confirmed that they are crossing state lines with a dead deer ? I’m cool with that. Otherwise it stinks

The game wardens are pulling people over for having a deer carcass not because you have been hunting. A Trooper friend of mine said they arrested 17 people this morning around Athens (probably I65 and Hwy 99) if I had to guess. The people were coming from Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio and Tennessee. This is not the first time they have setup these kind of things on the state line. One of the guys hunting with us this morning had to run back up to Tennessee and he said that there were Tennessee game wardens there. They were not there when we went back this afternoon.

Arrested for what? I don't know about Alabama but not many wildlife violations here are arrestable offenses.

I am getting upset that they are not on the roads I cross going to and from my TN properties. Why are they not sitting at every state line crossing, only true big ones? No telling the deer that are coming in and out of the 2 lane roads.

some of you are comical. profiling hell yes. I guess when a blk guy robs someone you want everyone stopped and checked. There are valid reasons for profiling. Profiling prevents LEO's from wasting time and effort. Not profiling is as dumb as a news broadcast not telling the race of a robber in an APB. Profiling is a useful tool, like it or not.

Y'all ever hunt out of state? It's routine to have hunter check points where all hunters are required to stop. If you roll by and they suspect for any reason you should of stopped but didn't, the state troopers put on their rollers and pull you over.
I.like pulling over and getting out of the truck to see what everyone is checking in. They will typically tell you any stats you want to know too, which is interesting if nothing else.

Must not have many cdl holders on here. Is it considered profiling when troopers set up on interstate and pick random trucks to pull over to do a DOT inspection on? (I’m not talking about weigh stops)

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

We talked about all the deer being brought in at the processor the other day. They said they've turned away a bunch of deer from out of state because they weren't deboned.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard for folks to follow the regulations. Any deer entering any state from another must be deboned. Isn’t that right? But I don’t know if it’s an arrestable offense.
