Better things than enforcing Conservation Laws and Regulations.....which is their job?? LOL
There is nothing at all hard about the Regulation. And, it is NOT new!
If they can figure out how to buy licenses, apply for Tags and properly check them in as per other States Regs.......then following AL's that says 'debone the meat, cape the deer and cut off the skull plate with the antlers attached. That skull plate must be thoroughly cleaned of all brain material before it is imported into Alabama' should be relatively simple for them!
No need to throw some good everyday common sense into this discussion.
My buddy found a taxidermist that caped his, took the skull plate off with the antlers attached and cleaned it according to the regs. Charged him $50. Cheap piece of mind.
Yep. Got an outfitter buddy in IL and KS that’s doing that for every client.
I’ve seen a couple on the inter web complaining about being stopped with carcasses from out of state yet they openly stated they knew about the reg. they just didn’t think anyone was really checking.
