Congrats Powpow. We are on the board. I passed on a couple of small bucks this morning but I'm hunting all weekend so hopefully I get a chance at something better. My non hunting neighbor, who loves deer sausage, asked me to shoot a deer for him so I'm going to try to kill him a doe this weekend.

I should have killed a doe yesterday morning but after dragging two and cleaning them I was glad I didn't shoot it.

Finally getting a chance to get back in the woods after having to work too much. Probably gonna be some hell raised about me not showing up for a few days so hopefully I won't get fired. One way or another it was time to get some tree stand time in. This is usually about the time it starts getting good on my Lee county place so I'm gonna hit it hard for the next couple of days and hope for the best. Good luck to everyone else this weekend.

A few more days and we should be golden on our places. Gonna try and kill a doe on public somewhere soon and bucks are starting to shift into rut areas around the house. Hopefully a good one shows up somewhere.
