That "wide as their ears" rule is goofy. Width ain't nothin' but air , air is everywhere! Totally agree. Our rules do say "bucks with a 15 inch inside spread" just for something to look for, but they also say "OR any buck 3.5 years old or older". The spread rule protects most of our 2.5s, but not all. Hopefully someday we can go to a straight "age" rule as we get better at determining age on the hoof. Nice buck, Casey. I knew you would get cranked up before long. CD.
