For the longest I looked at how people treated dogs like family & thought they were nuts. I guess it's because we grew up in the sticks and had outside dogs that just kind hung out, but never did much else but feed them daily & let them roam. Now that I have a mutt that lives here and truly thinks she belongs inside with the family at all hours of the day, I can't imagine what it'll be like when its time for her to go.
