I know one thing. This is a big enough competition where two venues would be needed to really win. I just so happen to have a project ...

I might put two skid steers against a D6 but not one.

When y'all get done in LA come up to my place . I have several hundred acres with several miles of roads that need swept out, water bars and turn outs. Wanta clear more food plot acres . We can see how that skid steer does in steep hills and limestone rocks.

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

Y'all are the biggest pack of John Deere homers I have ever come across don't matter what piece of equipment is discussed, tractor, dozer, UTV.

That being said.... if this guy wants to own 1 piece of equipment he needs a JD 555 loader 4:1 bucket with detachable backhoe and ripper. DONE.

Have any of you ever seen a loader or dozer with a backhoe attachment? Based on the replies I would say the answer to that is most of y'all don't even know that exists.

Rent the dozer, build the roads and pond and tell them to come get it... You won't need it again after that you can maintain everything you used it for with farm tractor as long as you did it correctly.

Here is what a dozer will do and it will get it done eventually:

When you are ready to stop playing around (and I realize this is a little bit bigger machine but not a whole lot) first you do this...

Then you do this...... you can't carry material with a dozer guys....

And then you get a backhoe attachment for it and you can do all the digging you ever wanted as well so there is no need for a track hoe.

For the record, I also recommended the catipillar.

I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Deere builds best ag tractors. Cat builds best dozer. I’d not own dozer with a backhoe attachment. Would do neither job well

That would be doable. Have to look at the job first.
