Any body else hitting the woods tomorrow? I'll be sitting my Russell Co lease in the morning. Got pics of a nice non typical that been cruising a hardwood head pretty regular in the daylight. Hoping to get on him before anyone else gets a chance to hunt that area.

With this cold front pushing through, this should be a great weekend for deer movement. Hope ya git him. I ain't hunting this weekend but I am taking off the middle of next week to hunt in Selma with a friend from Tampa.

Thought about going to my Chambers Co lease this morning but overslept a little. Hunting one of my Lee county places. Wind is not what they forecast for sure but not buggering me up yet. Saw a couple of bucks in a plot about 100 yards behind me so far but nothing working in the oaks. Maybe soon though.

I've been one morning and one afternoon seen a 6 and a doe. Should have killed the doe but played stupid and let her walk by without ever drawing.

Have only had a shot at one big 8 so far in winston county but he stayed just out of range. Will be going to Nebraska Thanksgiving week to hunt an indian reservation for a week.

Anybody getting after them this weekend? I'm planning on running up to my chambers co. place in the morning if I can drag myse!f out of bed early enough. Been trying to get up there the last couple of weeks but just haven't made it. Still need to hang a couple of stands and check food plots and cameras so I'll probably make a day of it.

Made it to chambers co this morning, no luck. Hung 3 stands after I got down and I'll be in one of them in the morning. Found good sign and lots of acorns. Wind is going to be bad for the best spot so maybe the runner up will get it done for me. I can't wait for Turkey season. That place is slap eat up with turkeys.

Getting in the stand now, decided I'm gonna stick a doe if she doesn't come out with a little one. To many passes this season and I want a bow kill, thank God gun season starts Saturday!
